Musings From the Genny: Week of July 14, 2025

Here we are already half-way through summer!  We hope the season is going well for all!

While we hope many of you are enjoying vacation vibes, we want to take a moment to acknowledge the turbo mode that many other folks find themselves in this time of year.

This is a season that kicks into high gear for so many Vermonters, especially those involved in the agriculture and the service industries.  Whether it's getting the hay in, managing crops, maintaining gardens, building while the weather is warm, or serving food from dawn to dark, the grind of a long summer day can be utterly exhausting. So for those of you who are going full-tilt, we see you, we feel you, and we hope you still manage to find moments of rest and play during the fast and furious days of the season.
