Musings from The Genny: Week of May 26, 2025

Ok, this week we are celebrating one of Vermont’s favorite past times: bitchin’ about the weather. There is no denying 40 degrees and raining can be a bit lackluster. Pair that with politics, 14 cases of mispicked sunflower butter, our milk not being shipped in Albany, bears getting into our trash dumpster, quarts of chicken salad dressing spilling in our walk-in cooler and we were really feelin’ it here at The Genny.  But then we watch a little kiddo toddle around the store with the mini shopping cart and the world seems ok for a moment. Leave it to our Front of House Child Whisperer, Sunny, to know just what we all needed.  In the old days Sam would just push Esme around in a cardboard box!
