Onward Wines, Zinfandel Nouveau, 2021

We featured Onward’s Sparkling Rosé back in February as part of the Select share. This time around Essentials members get a taste of California’s Mendocino county. This Zinfandel is loaded with vibrant, punchy fruits and tastes like cherry soda with candied orange and a rosemary sprig. While not as juicy as some zins out there, it’s an interesting take! Great with grilled meats or pasta night.
