Mariotti Bianco Dell'Emilia Smarazen

This bottle comes from the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, which surrounds Bologna. More specifically, it’s from the unique seacoast area of the Bosco Eliceo. Salty, sandy, windy, with alternating fog and sun makes for a dramatic place for vines to grow. Smarazen is for sure a summer sipper. Delightful and refreshing with great acid. You’ll likely find some lees (sediment) at the bottom of this natural wine; keep it there or gently turn the bottle to mix it in.
