As you know we recently celebrated our 10th year in business! We have gone through so many changes as people and as a business during our decade of operation. We have expanded, shifted, and re-organized more times than we can count and even successfully weathered the storms of a global pandemic (no small thanks to our amazing community). The Wednesday Night Globetrotting Dinner series has been one of the constant fixtures of this store through it all since our first meal 9 years ago. We are so grateful for the loyal following that has grown with us along the way. However, keeping pace with the demand of the meal every week, year-round, has been difficult to maintain in the midst of all the other responsibilities of the two stores.
With that in mind, we have decided to push the pause button on our dinner series to allow for some much needed rest and time to re-evaluate and scheme up some other creative food directions for our kitchen.
Tender chicken thighs cooked in a tomato and roasted red pepper sauce, roasted potatoes and migas (a sauteed salad of garlic, chopped kale, black beans and breadcrumbs).
Sushi-grade tuna, avocado, carrot, cucumber, seaweed salad and scallion with a spicy sauce over sushi rice.
Sumac roasted chicken leg with Israeli couscous and roasted butternut squash, topped with tahini sauce, toasted almonds, and za'atar.
Tofu, ground pork and beef seasoned with miso, szechuan peppercorns, fermented black beans and chili. Served over rice with roasted broccoli.
Shaved beef or chickpea with cucumber, tomato and olive tapenade and a tahini dressing. Served in a pita.
Tender meatballs in a rich beef and buttermilk gravy. Served with roasted herb potatoes and a beet salad.
Guest chef, Chole, will be serving salsa verde pork with rice and beans. Chile rellenos for the vegetarians! Yum!
A cold salad made with rice vermicelli, ground seasoned pork or tofu, fresh local sweet peppers, carrot, cabbage, mint, cilantro, peanuts, and scallion. Tossed in a chili-lime dressing.
Jerk chicken, fresh pineapple salsa, slaw, and coconut rice.
Roti Wrap: Chicken or eggplant tikka masala with spiced chickpeas and cucumber salad wrapped in naan and served with tomatillo chutney and yogurt raita.Patio is open, rain or shine!
Grilled steak, fresh cheese, olive & roasted pineapple relish, grilled onion, tomato, greens and fresh herb mayo on a crunchy baguette. Served with smokey cabbage & kale slaw.We have a new awning over our patio, so Patio Party is ON this week, rain or shine!
Roasted baby clams and rice salad with shredded cabbage, sesame peanuts, fried shallots, pork skins, green apple and fresh herbs.

Taco dinner includes 2 soft corn tacos and a zesty lime slaw.
Meat version comes with 1 pork carnitas taco and 1 chicken taco, both topped with homemade salsas and other goodies.
Vegetarian tacos are black bean and sweet potato.
Patio will be open with Blackbird Bar slinging delicious drinks.
Pick up your food inside, then head out to the patio to enjoy a meal with your friends and neighbors.
