Introducing: The Genny FREE-zers
During the pandemic, the Everyone Eats program helped connect local restaurants and food producers with Vermonters who needed meals. The Genny was able to distribute thousands of free meals thanks to that support — but when the funding ended, the need didn’t.
In response, we created “Genny Meals,” offering free sandwiches to anyone who needed one. As we reimagined how to make the biggest impact, a new idea took shape: FREE-zers.
Each FREE-zer — one on the Albany porch and one on the Craftsbury patio — are stocked with healthy, single-serve meals available at no cost, no questions asked.
